To The Front 2 Lyrics by RayClev

CalmStorm2

0

"Aim High" my whole crew wild so I'm taking fewer shots
To make jams that flood the streets, unhook the sewer tops
Yeah, yeah, get it live, bring that sound back
Product in the brown bag, we don't sound wack
The fever in the sentence, smooth from the pen click
Mind in a different dimension, just itching
To scratch the surface where no man has been before
Take an adventure through the depths of the unexplored
Zone out ! let your mind take you
Rappers discuss writers block, emcee's breakthrough
Create that realm you can escape to, with things you can relate to
So bring it to the front take two
Hook:
Aye bring it to the front
Bring it to the front, bring it to the front
Lets bring it to the front
Aye bring it to the front
Bring it to the front, bring it to the front
Aye I said
Aye bring it to the front
Aye I said
Bring it to the front
Sounds that make them jump
Wanna lift their heads up
Get them people what they want Hip-hop to the front
Verse 2:
Boombap in my boombox knocking
Lets get a circle crackin' tell the emcee's hop in
Would love to take it back, when it wasn't all this nonsense
Swag became the word, the brainless spit conscious
Don't trip i got this, ain't pulling a stunt
Just...follow the leader, migrate to the front
I'm running shit like 28 at The Metrodome
With the perfect rhythm synonymous with the metronome
But won't intrigue ears, they say the culture's dead & gone
But how is that when KRS-one set the tone
Nowadays I stand alone
Man-to-man I'm number one, y'all in that 2-3 zone
Hook:
Aye bring it to the front
Bring it to the front, bring it to the front
Lets bring it to the front
Aye bring it to the front
Bring it to the front, bring it to the front
Aye I said
Aye bring it to the front
Aye I said
Bring it to the front
Sounds that make them jump
Wanna lift their heads up
Get them people what they want Hip-hop to the front
Verse 3:
Who can match my output
Everything I put out is beyond your outlook
I look out into the game & view a bunch of losers
Don't see a unit I can't outflank or outmaneuver
It wasn't easy believe me it takes time
Now I take off & bang out from the base line
Wasn't easy believe me it takes time
Now I take off & bang out from the base line
(Rakim Interview)
Hook:
Aye bring it to the front
Bring it to the front, bring it to the front
Lets bring it to the front
Aye bring it to the front
Bring it to the front, bring it to the front
Aye I said
Aye bring it to the front
Aye I said
Bring it to the front
Sounds that make them jump
Wanna lift their heads up
Get them people what they want Hip-hop to the front
