Handbook for the Recently Horror Punk Lyrics by The Renfields

Vs. The Handbook For The Recently Horror Punk (Chapter 1)

2020

I was lost and all alone! No scene! No place to call my own!
Until I saw a signal beacon shining in the dark!
There was an esoteric knowledge bound inside an ancient text, it was covered by the fingerprints of bands that I respect!
Each page was like a blueprint filled with horror punk commandments
And a list of all the bands you should malign!
It tells you what to do and how to be a punk rock Pharisees and you can have it all if you just fall in line!
H.f.t.R.H.P. - Page 138 says you gotta have a devillock!
H.f.t.R.H.P. - Page 666 says you gotta listen to the Misfits!
We'll live in horror punk serenity, where no one is your enemy and mutual admiration comes from Danzig imitation!
It has a list of ghoulish fashion tips! You even get a starter kit to save you all the trouble of exhausting your imagination!
(EXCERP FROM PAGE 435)
Frankenberry is your favorite!
Buy a black cat name it Satan!
You need spooky zombie contacts?
List of web sites in the back!
H.f.t.R.H.P. - Page 138 says you gotta have a devillock!
H.f.t.R.H.P. - Page 666 says you gotta listen to the Misfits!
When you cash in your scene points and call in all your favors, you might be surprised what you've earned!
Your decoder rings and your matching t-shirts only bought you a spot in the middle of the circle jerk
H.f.t.R.H.P. - Page 138 says you gotta have a devillock!
H.f.t.R.H.P. - Page 666 says you gotta listen to the Misfits!
